Three ways to practice each letter
The Trace layout provides repeated letter outlines for early pencil control. Trace, Copy, Write gradually removes support so children can form letters independently. Picture and Word connects each letter to familiar vocabulary such as A for Apple, B for Ball, and C for Cat.
Each style uses the same page size and writing guides, so parents and teachers can switch activities without changing printer settings or introducing a new visual routine.
How to use these alphabet worksheets
- 01
Model the letter
Say the letter name and demonstrate its shape before the child begins tracing.
- 02
Trace slowly
Ask the child to stay on the dotted outline and pause when the pencil needs to change direction.
- 03
Write independently
Move to blank practice only after the traced letter feels comfortable and repeatable.
Printing tips
Choose US Letter or A4 in the worksheet builder, then select the same paper size, portrait orientation, and 100% scale in the browser print dialog. Print one test page before printing all 26 letters. Dark model letters, lighter writing guides, and fine tracing outlines keep the activity clear while limiting ink use.
